Unless Stearns makes a dramatic move to improve the offense this team is going nowhere.

100 percent. I'd almost rather sell than just play it out with such a mediocre offense.

We can only dream that our offense is mediocre.

If you have the leadoff runner on base 5 times in 7 innings you should be able to score at least one run out of it, IMO.

Thus sprake Probability

2 hits in a game at Coors is basically a no hitter anywhere else right?? It's crazy how many times you think a couple hits and maybe we can get back in this and then it's up to Pablo or Peterson or Robertson or Bradley and you just realize it's impossible.

Reds score 4 in the ninth off Melancon to turn a 2-0 deficit into a 4-2 lead.

The Brewers won’t be ahead of them for long.

Hosmer ties with with a bomb.

Reds pen is going to be their Achilles Heel, regardless of how good they looked against the Brewers.

Probably not enough of an Achilles Heel to keep them behind the Brewers.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

We'll see I suppose. I still say the Reds are a team that looks better on paper than they actually are in real life.

Keep losing the way they did tonight, and they'll be lucky to be a .500 team.

I'm more concerned with the Brewers than the Reds. Losing 4 in a row is not a good trend. Need to start turning this around and not start letting the wheels come off again like in early May. We just either are playing great or playing awful there is no in between.
