I don’t believe in jinxes, but the Brewers are 0-3 with two shutouts and a Travis Shaw solo homer in the run column when I attend. I will be there tonight! And when I bought my tickets, Fastball Freddy was the projected starter. Seeing Anderson kind of bums me out. A Vogel-bomb will cheer me up.

I'll cover the other side of the jinx. Brewers are 9-0 on Bucks playoff games.

I know they are resting him and avoiding the lefty/lefty matchup, but it feels like a break to avoid having Winker (3-for-7, HR vs Anderson) in the starting lineup tonight. Of course the flip side is he’ll likely come to the plate in some high leverage situation if the game is close.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

It’s only one inning with a long way to go, but Anderson getting through a low-stress, clean inning is certainly a nice start. He was locating well to Aquino and repeatedly hitting the bottom of the zone.

Looks like Anderson might have his smoke and mirrors working today :laughing

He’d better have it because there isn’t going to be much run support.

The Brewers have now gone 9 innings without a hit.

Ten consecutive innings without a hit for the Brewers going back to last night, I believe.

It was nine when I first posted that and it’s now 11.

Unfortunately Castillo seems to have figured things out again. He is just too good to be as bad as he was the first couple months.

Unless it’s just how weak the Brewers offense is, throw in Gutierrez and the Reds are going to be serious contenders in this division.
