The Brewers are 18-11 against teams above .500

It might just be time for some fans to think more of this group.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Has Hader ever pitched 3 games in a row before? Seems like he did fine but have to think he needs a couple of days now.

Not sure but I did see this is the first time he's saved all three games of a sweep

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Hader has pitched three consecutive days twice in his career. The last three games and the Dodgers series at the end of April. By my count.

It certainly is going to limit options in the bullpen tomorrow with Hader pitching the last 3 days and Williams the last two.

The Nashville shuttle may be working overtime if Lauer and Anderson have short, ineffective starts.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Am I missing the reason for a standing ovation, seems a little weird? My wife has the TV at like 2 volume so I may be missing the reason.

Yelich bobblehead day

Exactly, I am here right now and lots of kids very excited.

I was at the game too. It is understandable that people were excited to see Yelich come up once after the dreary 15 up, 15 down from the first through the fifth.

That batting order with Peterson batting fifth through the pitcher’s spot does not generate much in the way of hope, much less expectation and excitement.

He pitched three in a row in early 19, if I remember. Against the Reds.

Athletics at the end of July...he took the loss in the first game, saved the second, and blew the save (ended up losing) the third game.

And yet, they keep tossing you W’s. Enjoy it every once in awhile.

I’m enjoying the wins, but if I’m going to spend 3 1/2 hours at a ballgame, I find it more fun

to look forward to seeing hitters who I think have a realistic chance of providing some action.

I think a large part of it is that the slow pace of the games these days makes it less enjoyable to attend games in person. The pace is less important when I’m at home and can keep track of the game while doing other things. In the late 70’s and early 80’s I attended about half of the home games. Now, going to 10-15 a year is plenty to satisfy me.

So, yeah, I guess the suggestions that I’m not a good fan are warranted.
