Yeah would be nice if he got knocked around a bit so the media can focus more on our aces.

Well If the best player ever in Fernando tatis jr can’t hit three homers off him mere mortals have no chance (I’m sick of his commercials, If

You can’t tell)

They took him out after 80 pitches to manage his innings, and the Padres scored almost immediately haha

They announced deGrom left the game with a finger injury (right flexor tendonitis).

Not just “at Night” anymore.

No clutch in a Yelich at bat. .229 and dropping.

Once we get another bat putting him lead off might be better since he walks but doesn’t like to swing anymore.

UGHH!

I have him on all 4 of my fantasy teams.

I also have Scherzer on one of them too, and he went down with an injury tonight as well.

The Pirates sure haven’t looked like one of the worst teams in the league against the Brewers. And they haven’t even played in the PNC House of Horrors yet.

I have both deGrom and Scherzer on my fantasy team. I also have Boegarts as my SS and he was scratched tonight. Talk about a bad fantasy day.

De Jong played ball not too far from here, and if you're curious, here's a video about an epic prep game in which a much younger De Jong (ha!) faced another high draft choice in Shane Watson. (You'll see JP Crawford and Chris Betts, as well, for at least four top-two round draftees, also Timmy Richards had a good college career at Fullerton.) My son competed in the Moore League (not in baseball) so it's always kind of fun for me to see local kids on bigger stages.

I saw an article today encouraging fantasy managers to pick up Brewers hitters because they will be facing teams with bad pitching for the next few weeks.

The Brewers are showing tonight why that isn’t a good strategy. When the resistible force of bad pitching meets the movable object of the Brewers hitters, go with the resistible force.

We made De Jong look pretty good tonight and now we have to face the Pirates bullpen who is apparently one of the best in the NL. Don’t have a lot of confidence right now.

Pretty much par for the course this year for the Brewers but we do pull these out late. Will be interesting to see the moves we make, the rotation makes going all in pretty tempting but we have these guys for at least 3 more years.

On the bright side, DeGrom gave you 6 shutout innings before he was hurt, and Scherzer is a lower body injury and not his arm. :)

Holmes has been really good this season over 27.1 IP coming into tonight (just 9 walks and 8 runs allowed). Looks like his command is a little shaky at the moment.
