How long do we keep starting jbj? honest question. I think Corey ray might even hit Better than him currently. He’s a defensive sub in a playoff race, at this point.

Boxburger seems to fidget with his glove quite a bit and weirdly move the baseball quickly once he catches it. Is he another on the sticky substance crew?

They are all on the sticky substance crew.

Boxberger is the one reliever that I’m 100% sure is doing it, although yeah they probably all are

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Wow. A pirate just got called out on a homer because he missed first base

Does that happen once every century?

It's now happened twice in one night (albeit one of them in a minor league game)

Devin keeps wiping his hand in his pants.

I imagine if he has something sticky, you’d see his pants sticking to his hands or some mark.

Or am I just a homer?

I think the best place to conceal sticky substances going forward would be inside the belt or elastic waistband of the pants. I saw a pitcher for the Giants the other day that seemed to tug at the waistband on his right hip after nearly every pitch.

EDIT: I misunderstood what you were saying initially JCREW, yes you would think if you had a substance and you wiped your hand frequently it would show on your uniform.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Not sure why the Reds are even swinging. I think he threw one changeup for a called strike.
