I’m a little surprised by Hader being unavailable today. He’s only pitched twice in the month of June, and that was this past Thursday and Saturday. He threw 18 pitches yesterday, I would’ve figured he was available today.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

No matter the outcome, a reminder that Box allows less than 1 runner on base per inning he’s pitched this season.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

And unscored on in 22 of 25 appearances, including 8 in a row. He has been very good. No problem with the choice here.

Just looking at Hiura's swings today he looks to be timing everything but his hands are not where they should be. His last AB on the two last swings his hands were below and above where the pitch was. He time them correctly but he either swung above or below the ball.

I don't believe this is going to be an easy fix for him. It is going to be a long process of hime missing pitches.

On the one hit he got today his hands were where he needed them to be but it looks like he just can't get his hands in the correct spot when swinging at pitches.

Yes, he’s been very good. We are spoiled with having Hader.

I think that pitch in that location actually hit the bat more so than the bat hitting the ball. It's basically the only pitch in the only location that he can hit right now.

I ALMOST feel bad for the DBacks for their rough streak. Either way, gotta love the sweep!

They’ve lost 17 in a row on the road. That’s an incredible accomplishment, especially since they seemingly have some decent hitters.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

The Brewers have won 12 of 15.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Still not good enough.

How would you rank the 3 brewer “aces” so far this season?

Woody= Ace of Spades

Burnes = Ace of Diamonds

Peralta = Ace of Hearts

Love it! Just need an Ace of Clubs now.

Doesn't Houser have a couple home runs this year? Seems like that would qualify for Clubs.
