Haven’t read through the thread, but can someone post a link after the game about how many calls Joe West got wrong behind the plate for balls and strikes? What a brutal performance on pitches both inside and outside the zone.

Great result tonight. Get the win without having to use Williams or Hader.

I’m sure Counsell ie relieved that he didn’t have to decide whether to push Peralta over the 120 pitch mark. Now it’s less likely that we’ll be talking a few weeks from now about how tonight’s game messed Peralta up. With an off day on Monday I assume he’ll be getting 5 days of rest again before his next start.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Joe West is so bad.

We can probably say this every night with every umpire but Joe has had an awful game tonight.

That’s future Hall of Famer, Joe West. How crazy is it he’s going to be enshrined into Cooperstown.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

On MLB Network that had birthday cupcake’s for Freddy Peralta while they interviewed him. Greg Amsigner asked him for his birthday wish as they blew out the candles on the cupcakes. His answer was “to win the World Series”. What a fantastic birthday wish, Freddy.

This is my first time seeing Richards. I wonder if he dyes his hair gray, the guy just turned 28.

I had a friend in high school who started to get gray hair during his sophomore year we called him gramps.

Anderson v the Dbacks in 2017 and v the Cubs in 2016 went 7.0 no-hit before giving up a hit to lead off the 8th. Gallardo's was also broken up with none out in the 8th v St. Louis in 2011. The last ones I can find that were 7.1 or longer are Odell Jones 8.1 in 1988 and Teddy Higuera 7.2 in 1987. So is this is closest in 30+ years?
