Changed the entire complexion of this game. It would be 3-2.

Well, it should be 3-3.

Not if the Brewers had turned either of the double play opportunities presented to them.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I’m all for calling him up and letting him prove it. It’s not like Hiura has looked good in his return and Shaw/Urias have their shortcomings as well. He will either hit or he won’t. Gives you a better idea if you have to go move for another piece.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Big game offensively for Urias. Great to see.

I think with them having just added him to their 40, it's almost imminent.

Really think they rushed Hiura back up. He wasn't even really down any sufficient amount of time to work on anything.

I agree there. I think they saw his stat line and tried to catch him on fire in his return. MLB pitchers just execute their pitches better so Hiura is going to have to change his approach and pitch selection if he’s going to have success.

Maybe Urias will become our DH next year not Hiura as so many expected when the season started. Although I would expect him to be the regular 3b next year unless we go out and get somebody.

I don't think so. Urias needs to add value in the field. His bat isn't good enough to be limited to full-time DH duty.

With the work I think Hiura needs to do to make him even a possibility at the big league level, I don't think those adjustments can be made during the year. He's going to need the whole offseason.

I don't think so either. Just the way he's piling up the errors it might be the best spot for him. We aren't exactly oozing with DH options.
