Gray Jr. now has 23 RBI’s on the season thru 21 games. Sure hit & contact skills are still work in progress but he’s walking over 10% of time & smoking the ball. Think he may be starting to click a bit.

Usually Carolina league is brutal on hitters yet every night, they are most exciting box score to check. Those kids are hitting!

Proud member since 2003 (geez ha I was 14 then)

FORMERLY BrewCrewWS2008 and YoungGeezy don't even remember other names used

Hopefully they can keep it up once Kannapolis leaves town, but it is good to see a lot of those guys starting to hit. Gray and Martinez are the obvious ones, but guys like Campbell, Hall and McGee are having really nice seasons as well.

Box: Nashville 11, Columbus (Indians) 0

Sounds Rout Clippers for Ninth Straight Win

Nashville puts up season-high 11 runs in most lopsided win of season

Reaction from the Clippers Twitter account

RHP Zack Godley a pretty solid depth piece, wonder if he negotiated another opt-out date down the line.

Full week with no Mario Feliciano.

I see the "Sleeper" is leading the Mudcats in hits, second in runs scored, third in RBIs, leads the team in walks, grabbed three bases thus far, and is not a Top 30 prospect...The question is not who is John Galt? Rather, the question is who is Gabe Holt?

Great for Holt, but he's a 23-year-old pretty high college draftee (7th round) in Low A ball. He should be playing well at that level. The test is going to be when he starts climbing through the system.

Box: Carolina 12, Kannapolis (White Sox) 6

Mudcats Brew Up Third Straight Win Again 12-6

Holt, Martinez, Hall and McGee each had three hits in the Micro Brews victory

The Mudcats play this currently 2-19 especially pitching-poor Cannon Ballers team 24 times this season, with a Covid-adjusted opponent schedule for 2021.

Book it - we will continue to hear about switch-hitting Aussie catcher Alex Hall over the next few years.
