It really should've been a few months in AAA for Hiura but I get why you'd rush him back when no one in the lineup can hit.

At the very least, 2 months.

3 weeks was just not enough time to make any kind of lasting improvements.

I've been pulling for Richards to make the Adames trade even better to make up for the clownish SS moves. Ah, well, lets keep hoping

I'm fine with the changes made in the shortstop department.

Yeah, but look at what we gave up to get there

Keston makes me sad

Rhetorical question ... but is the difference in pitching at AAA compared to MLB really that drastic? I know its a wide gulf, but Keston's performance is making it look like the Grand Canyon.

Well, people use the term "AAAA player" for a reason. It is the biggest jump in all baseball levels.

Come on Rock. That should be a hit and 2 errors.

I haven't seen the scoring, but I think a hit, then an error for it getting by Tatis and allowing the run to score and then a throwing error to allow the runners to advance right?

That’s what I would score it.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Yes the pitching at AAA is normally well below that of MLB. AA talent wise has better starting pitchers. For the most part AAA pitchers are normally just roster filler guys. It is why going from AA to the majors is not that big of a jump compared to going from AAA to the majors.

AAA is normally just a holding spot for players. Top prospects barely play the whole year at AAA and if they do it is because of super 2 reasons.

Two on and nobody out with the top of the order coming up. Here comes the big inning the Brewers need.

They tried to move them over there...I think?

Yeah, I think Wong must’ve missed the sign the first time around and it cost Cain a hittable pitch down the middle in the process.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Me liking this new shortstop.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
