Judging by that little writeup on Jeff Hoffman he will probably go 7 shut out innings with 11 Ks

Andy Haines frantically Googling "jeff hoffman reds scouting report stuff velocity 2021" as we speak.

I hate the hate towards Haines...but I did laugh at this :laughing

Fire Andy Haines and just make everyone play MLB: The Show against the opposing team before every game. Heck, let them drink Mtn Dew and eat Doritos while they do it. The results may not change, but probably would be cheaper.

I needed this today before watching this group of hitters :laughing

Just went to set a recording for the game because I won’t be around for the beginning. First time I realized it’s on FS1, not the usual Bally Sports.

I find I often can take the games with less aggravation if I record them and then start watching and fast forward through the irritating parts. With that standard it never takes me long to catch up.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Just caught the score on mlb.com so I don't think I'm going to waste my time watching.

Thanks for the update! See you tomorrow!

Lol

Fanbase is weak these days from too much winning. Back in my day only down 3-0 after 1 was cause for celebration!

These announcers.

We talked about Narvaez earlier. Well Shaw is giving him a run for his money on best offensive player on the Brewers as his .664 OPS pops up on the screen. I mean, Jesus, dudes.

The difference is that we used to have an offense back then :laughing

But I love the way this game thread is going so far! :) “See you tomorrow!”

They quickly tried to kind of backtrack on the "Shaw has had a rebirth this year with Milwaukee" quote as soon as the numbers appeared on the screen.

Doesn't look like the traded for players had enough time to make it. We're we able to call up anyone else or are we 2 men down?

I believe they’re short two in the bullpen tonight. Sounds like the new guys will be in Cincinnati for tomorrow’s game.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Daniel Robertson was activated, so we've got the pitcher for the bottom of the 8th covered.
