Hedbert?

Can someone refresh my memory on the Hedbert Perez situation? Was he held back in AZ because of a spring injury, or are they just keeping him down there because they don't think he's quite ready for A ball yet? Just seems odd that they wouldn't think he's ready for that level after having him up at the alternate training site last summer - where he supposedly had some good success.

Sorry - but giving this a self-bump. I'm not sure if I've missed discussion about Hedbert in another thread, but does anyone know when we might see him up with one of the affiliates this summer? Or, is the plan to keep him down in AZ this year?

Pretty sure that I saw that the initial plan was to have his start at least with the AZ team. May play for one of the higher affiliates later in the summer.

Thanks, I was wondering the same. Hope he is at Carolina at minimum sometime this summer.
