100 games of subpar offense

60 games in a forgettable 2020 - team record 29-31

If the Brewers win tonight - team record will be 21-19

Combined record for 100 games would be 50-50

That is actually quite incredible when you consider the horrific offense from the Brewers in the 99 games so far

Like so many others on this board, I’m a diehard Brewers fan - win or lose

That said - they have been nearly “unwatchable” during the last few years

I’m a 50-year fan & I can’t recall a better pitching staff top to bottom

Likewise, I can’t recall any team having a worse offense ... & statistics support that perception

Is there any way the offense suddenly becomes adequate?

If so, they could make some noise - win the division - compete & potentially win the NLC

Here’s hoping a return to health for Yelich & a recovery to MLB all-star play for Hiura & others who have severely underperformed

I’d love to hear other perspectives from fellow Brewers fanatics

Am I the only one who struggles to enjoy watching them each night?

That is quite incredible. Imagine if they just had a sub-par offense instead of a god-awful offense. It’s a waste of an incredibly talented pitching staff.

I’m 42 and a lifelong Brewers fan. These last two years have been the least enjoyable years that I can remember. The 2002 season wasn’t as disappointing. It’s really hard to watch this team, but everyday I put myself through it for some reason.

I was just talking with someone today and saying I've never seen a more dominant collection of pitchers and a worse offense, so I'm with you.

Some of that is maybe due to the run environment league-wide. But still. Yelich and Hiura were supposed to be the center pieces here. If theyvwere even at league average, things would look better. But they're not, and Bradley has been awful. It is not a fun offense to watch.

Yelich will hit. Will Hiura? That's about the only thing that will make them watchable offensively...

Another reason why it’s so unenjoyable is that, atleast until Yelich is back, there’s no bat in the lineup that gives you hope of something great happening. Yelich, Grandal, Fielder, Moustakas, Braun are all guys you would want to be in front of the TV for their ABs...this lineup has none of that.

Personally I like watching Taylor and Urias solely to see their development. Aside from that, not much to see.
