Biloxi completes the no hitter, winning 1-0: Small (5 IP), Vennaro (1), Kirby (2), Hardy (1).

Looks like they just missed the perfect game with... [checks notes]... 8 walks.

In all seriousness, they struck out 13 and that’s a fun accomplishment. The first 9-inning no hitter for the Shuckers, and first time the Mississippi Braves have ever been no hit in their franchise history.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Small, Vennaro, Kirby and Hardy Throw First Nine-Inning No-Hitter for Biloxi

Garrett reminds us of the seven-inning Shucker no-no.

Teams combined to go 0-for-16 with RISP (Biloxi 0-for-11, but one was Ryan Aguilar's RBI groundout).

Heartbreak in Peoria Again

Rattlers rally from 5-0 deficit to tie, but Chiefs score three in eighth for 8-5 win

By Chris Mehring

There's a lot to digest here, as Chris details the game action wonderfully, even if there was more frustration on a number of fronts throughout.

"Michele Vassalotti (0-1, 6.35) hit five batters with pitches in the game, including two of the first three batters he faced in the first and one with the bases loaded in the second."

My thoughts on the seven plunkings total.

We're still on Freddy Zamora watch (2nd round, 2020), since his early exit from a game this week.
