Smyly's numbers make it look like a potential night for offense. Would be nice if the Brewers had several good right handed batters. It's a very heavy lefty-hitting roster that hasn't produced much offense. The righty-hitters seemed to be worse coming into the season and haven't surpassed expectations so far.

Smyly was terrible or didn't even play over a four year span and nearly 300 innings...yet somehow 26 innings in 2020 then made him worth $11mil. Not shockingly, that deal isn't working out at the moment.

I would think some sort of transactions will happen before the game. Can't keep on sending Vogelbach/Shaw out there against left handed starters and expect the offense to do something.

That and there's no need for a 9 man pen, especially with how well our starters have been pitching this year

Hopefully, offense does better this series. This is the worst pitching we've seen.

SDP - 2.82 ERA

LAD - 3.25

MIA - 3.32

STL - 3.61

PHI - 4.18

CHC - 4.39

ATL - 4.63

This is the night the Brewers have to put up some runs. Anderson and Ynoa are not bad.

It says something that the Braves held out Smyly against the Blue Jays so he could pitch against a team he might have a chance against.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Nice bench too with Feliciano, Perez, Peterson, Forsythe, Wes Wilson. It is a good time to be a Sounds fan.

Think the top half of the Brewers lineup does some damage tonight.

I'm not as optimistic.

Jeff supan could walk out of the nursing home today and probably go six innings allowing only two runs against the crew.

Pittsburgh (4.40 ERA) and Minnesota (4.63 ERA) were worst among their previous opponents.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Pittsburgh is currently worst among previous opponents (4.40 ERA).

Thanks. Overlooked Pittsburgh.

Cripes. Talk about unlucky.

Three walks, a balk, a hit batter and a couple of blistering line drives will usually produce a few runs. I would say Houser was lucky to get of the inning with only two.
