Both items posted Tuesday on the Minor League Forum here:

Pre-Game Audio Interviews form the road series in Toledo --

May 5 – Infielder Jamie Westbrook

Some much-needed reinforcements for Biloxi:

Add:

RHP Noah Zavolas (Tonight's starter)

INF Luis Castro

OF Chad Spanberger

INF Jamie Westbrook

AND

RHP Bobby Wahl on Major League Rehab

Now Westbrook, who appeared in multiple games in big league camp and is off to a nice start, will likely be back in AAA soon. A big factor now is the Sounds roster is heavy with MLB re-habbers, or those about to rehab. And I have no doubt Westbrook will be giving his all with the Shuckers.

But if you didn't listen to the full interview yet, please do, and be sure to catch the talk at the 04:20 minute mark, and listen to Jamie discuss his escape from four years in the Southern League.

Or so he thought.

Yikes. Hang in there, young man.

Are walks a command issue or a control issue?

And, afraid I'll sound stupid, what is the difference between command and control?

How I have always differentiated between the two is, control= walks/strikes thrown, command= location in and around the zone (basically is a pitcher hitting spots).

Ugh - candidate for needless bummer loss of the year, even at this early stage. Especially given time of game, 3 hours, 55 minutes. Sigh.

RHP Nathan Patterson made his Crew debut, as you saw in the box.

LG Castillo on base three more times, including a double, and added an OF assist.
