I'm sure I've never seen a big leaguer whiff on this many fastballs out over the plate

Has anything been written about how he's been so bad at it? Seems like he swings right through them.

Not to my knowledge. In 2019 he swung and made contact at balls in the zone 76.9% of the time. This year it's 60% - worst in all of baseball. By way of comparison, Yelich was 87% in 2019.

Honest question: When was the last time we beat the Marlins? Didn't they sweep us a couple years ago?

September 12, 2019. The series Yelich fractured his knee.

Not sure about 2020 but in 2019 we swept them four games in Miami in September during out hot streak to reach the playoffs.

And obviously the teams didn’t face off in 2020. There was a series in Milwaukee earlier in 2019 where the Brewers got blown out very badly in one of the games.

Edit: Brewers got beat 16-0 at home against the Marlins on June 4, 2019.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

So Taylor should probably be starting all the time, huh
