I get the frustration with pulling pitchers but woodruff was at 91 and his spot came up with a runner in scoring position. Woodruff is 0-7 with 5 is at the plate this year. The move made sense even if jp gives up a run here

Except that Woodruff probably is as good a hitter as half our lineup right now, not sure if this should be blue. But yeah 90 pitches is our 100 so far this year.

I don’t have an issue with guys being pulled after 90+ pitches in April. I do get the sense they’ve sort of made up their mind to limit the starting pitchers from over usage at this point in the season. One challenge will be keeping the bullpen fresh if they regularly have to go 3-4 innings a game for the foreseeable future.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

JP is the man! Just keeps on tossing zeros.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I am hopeful the Brewers are going easy on pitch counts early in an attempt to really unleash their pitchers in September and (hopefully) October.

They sorely needed another bullpen arm to emerge given their obvious plan for short pitch counts these days. And JP has been so huge in that role.

I am not Shea Vucinich
