McKinney has quietly crashed back down to earth. I know we've had injuries, but he isn't someone that belongs in the everyday lineup this much.

He has the weirdest line over his last 27 at bats. He’s 3-for-27, but all three hits have been home runs.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

So when do our pitchers get to throw more than 90 pitches? Or is that our new limit?

Well it is a 1 run game and his spot is up with a runner in scoring position so it makes sense.

Maybe I’m just jaded, but at this point there’s no one on the bench I trust to drive in that run. I’d rather have another inning of Woodruff on the mound.

Hard to argue with that at this point

Then again, Woodruff has a higher career average than the guy that hit for him.

Except that Woodruff probably is as good a hitter as half our lineup right now, not sure if this should be blue. But yeah 90 pitches is our 100 so far this year.

It’s like high 30’s in Chicago. It’s also still early in the season. It simply makes no sense to ramp up right now. Good game Woody!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
