Is it too late to trade Hiura for some starting pitching?

He is so bad that I'm not sure he is going to be in the league in 2 years. I'm very patient usually, but he looks like he can't play the game.

Tonight is I believe his 157th major league game. So you and a lot of people are giving up on him before he's even played a full season worth of major league games.

The kid needs to go through some growing pains. Most players do.

Seriously, you're getting to the point where you have to think about cutting your losses and shipping him to a rebuilding club that can be patient with him while he still has some decent trade value.

He is going to be batting under .100 soon, that isn't growing pains. I know we don't like to admit this, but the fact that the games span a very long period of time, imo, is relevant. Sometimes guys do have bad seasons, but when it carries over from one season to the next, and the guy appears to be getting worse, it's a concern.

He needs to go to Nashville, yesterday (or wherever/whoever is playing). He's not figuring it out with this approach. Go down and remember what finding a groove feels like.

That’s why he’s still playing, an older vet striking on a 180 strike out pace would already have been sent packing.
