Glad to see Shaw have a close call go his way. He’s had some hard contact that were outs last few games.

Anybody else feel like he fouls off way more pitches during his ABs than other players?? Do you make anything of that?

Freddy's good

Certainly he is doing that much more then when he was struggling with us in his last season.

That year he was swinging and missing at lots of pitches in the zone and many right down the middle.

OK Strike Moran out and let's move on.

You think that 3B coach would send him seeing Hiura getting the relay.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Letting Moran beat you seems odd.

I wanted the Brewers to work out a trade for Moran in the worst way this past offseason. I was met by multiple claims of "Why? He sucks!" This is why.

The same thing was said about Jeff Suppan.

Touche. I get it. You can't simply acquire guys who wear your team out, but suck against everyone else. I've always liked Moran, though. He's a guy who I wouldn't be surprised continues to get better, kind of like a poor man's left-handed-hitting Justin Turner.

Avi has been so fun this season.

Weren't we all told repeatedly, though, that Avi was a huge waste of money and is, in fact, terrible? Nice to see him hitting a few on the screws this year.

Yeah, there was some buzz around that. I think last season fooled many in a lot of different ways.

Feels like a day Hader may have to go more than one to get a W. We'll see. Looks like the ball is jumping pretty good.

They only had Hader throw more than 1 inning once last season (and it was 1.1 IP). They haven’t had him throw more than 1.1 IP since September 7, 2019. I hope they are still open to it, but I’m slowly getting the feeling the days of him going 2 innings (or more) are likely over.

Not just “at Night” anymore.
