Urias benefits from Cardinals pitchers inability to throw a strike for a 3rd time. Can someone walk their way out of a hitting slump? I hope so.

I take it back, box score briefly showed 3 walks but it's only 2 for Urias.

First walk for Urías was an IBB to bring the pitcher to the plate.

I know but Ponce de Leon was wild too which got him into trouble in the first place. That was more my thought on that.

My point was, oftentimes, a multiple walk day can indeed be a precursor to a decent run at the plate as you seemed to be suggesting. One walk and one intentional in an otherwise 0-3 day, not so much. I think we’d both like him to be more than futile at the plate, which he’s been so far.

Anyways, great win and series victory. Go Crew!

First time above .500 since 2019! Let’s go streaking!

Actually game 1 of the season.

Coach Carter was definately a fan of "pouring it on," especially against teams that were "not ready for the bright lights" yet.

We still don’t know if burnes is ready for the bright lights, :)

Coach Cooper. He could coach circles around any of the current MLB managers. Never got a shot though because he "didn't play by the rules"

Yup, Coach Cooper had his own set of rules, and you either followed them, or you hit the road.....bub.

You're 100% right, I only first posted this because I thought he had 3 walks which would have been slightly more impressive but I was wrong. The time delay on my ATT TV app fooled me.
