Arcia was owed that hit. He’s been hitting the ball hard this season. One of the few that has.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

You think the most obvious move is Yelich to 1B? A position he hasn’t played in how many years and that there has been not one indication of him playing this season? That’s the most obvious move?

When was the last time Keston played 1B before this year? Seriously? Ever?

Yelich to 1B makes sense if he can handle it. He is the worst OFer of the 4 we currently have and he's a huge target. I doubt they make a move like that without giving him a spring training to work it out though. Throwing him out there now wouldn't be wise.

It isn't nearly as crazy as you "hinted" at.

We're playing Hiura at 1st who never did prior to Spring Training. I think Yelich could pick it back up like riding a bike. Catchers play 1st often with little experience.

It is ludicrous as it was stated that it’s the most obvious move they could make. And I’ll stand by it.

Yeah I understand that. How long dud it take for them to be okay with Braun at 1b? Didn't he make a partial transition during the season? 2019 was it? When Jesus and Travis struggled themselves off the team?

Yelich isn't hitting worth a darn either. Got to give Hiura more than a week before we start making moves like that.

Typically I'd agree. But Hiura as somebody noted, had the worst in the zone contact last season and it's very obvious hes not making contact on direct middle of zone pitches already. 40%k pct is going to be tough to carry a 220BA. That's not 1b material. Get him figured out in the minors rather than sitting through this pain.

Or just fire Haines to buy him some time.

The thing I don't understand is why in the heck is he hitting 2nd?? If Wong does get on base what is the odd that Hiura is even making contact to move him along?? I have not like any of Counsell lineups this season.
