In a year in which the Brewers have been besieged with injuries, I'm surprised that so many people would give up one of our regulars for nothing, even if the player in question isn't performing that well.

 

It helps that Garcia has raised his OPS 157 points in the last 10 days. He'll likely level off, but hopefully the guy we've seen the last couple weeks is close to the guy we'll be seeing the rest of the year. Because I like that guy.

Garcia has a career OPS plus of 103. Not great but better than Adam Engel who figures to be their 3rd regular outfielder with rookie Vaughn and an aging Adam Eaton. I think you get a prospect ranked in their top 20 for a Garcia rental.
