I feel no animosity toward TB12 at all. I would just like to get another Super Bowl. Once we are eliminated I couldn't care less. He can go win 7 more for all I care. Wouldn't put it past him either.

What's actually pretty remarkable is that he has 7 despite a decade dryspell in the middle after his 3rd.

Another early exit this year and you might have to think about tearing it down and starting a rebuild, even if it means trading Rodgers.

Losing the NFCCG is not an early exit.

There are 28 teams in the NFL every year who wish they made it that far.

This was in reference to the divisional but I digress...in the case of the Packers, in their 3rd straight year of having a bye...yeah, the NFCCG is an early exit. The Packers aren't the other 28 teams. Not even winning the conference again is a big time failure. There is absolutely no "well this was a fun season anyway" angle here.

Yeah, with Rodger's situation, this is really an "all in" year. Anything short of the Super Bowl is going to feel disappointing, no matter what kind of "well, it was a good year nonetheless" spin anyone puts on it. I'm not at all suggesting that there should be a complete tear down and rebuild... but I guess we'll see what kind of shape we're in cap-wise if Rodgers does decide to leave or whatever.

If Rodgers does leave after this season, it won't be a complete teardown but there will be a significant retooling to put themselves back into a more palatable longterm cap situation - that means alot of veteran cuts and likely a franchise tag on Adams before working out a trade.

I would imagine 2022 would feel alot like Rodgers' 1st year starting after the Favre exit - a team that needs to find a new identity and likely one good enough to be competitive in what looks to be a down NFC North. Not a Super Bowl contender, but depending how Love develops not one that's going to be in for a long rebuild because there'd still be alot of talent on the roster.

I think Rodgers winds up either retiring (after a Super Bowl win) or sticking around and in turn inking a longterm contract that turns his current $46M cap hit for 2022 into a number much, much lower that provided enough cap room to continue walking that tightrope without having to blow it all up.

If Rodgers was actually serious about retiring after this season, why bother with the whole display this past offseason? Unless winning the Super Bowl motivates him to retire, which...I just don't buy. He's playing too well. I mean, really, with the make-up of the NFC right now, this could be a better time than any in his career to pile on a 3rd or 4th.

Rodgers isn't retiring. He's still too good and too competitive.

It seems unthinkable, but I would guess he's traded. It's hard to see him back in '22, even with things going so well. If they fall short, it's the same reason he wanted out before. If they win it all, he has nothing to left to prove here. It's hard to envision any perfect scenario where he returns.

Joe Judge when asked why he ran a qb sneak up the middle on 2nd and then 3rd down from his own 4 yard line.

"we were setting up the punt".

This dude is a gutless coward who (we already knew) shouldn't be a coach of any sort in the NFL.

For the people that get mad when their receivers run 6 yard patterns on 3rd and 8, there is nothing like a qb sneak on 2nd and 9, and then also on 3rd and 9, and your coach coming out and saying "we were setting up the punt".

Have the Giants fired this guy yet??

Another great hit piece on Judge and yes, I agree Judge should never step foot on an NFL field again. He's an embarrassment to the game.

Vibes to me are so positive that I'd guess he's back unless a terrible showing in game 1 to lose, or losing NFC title game in a beatdown fashion. Winning or close losses in the final four or SB I think he comes back. Really don't see where else he could go to have a better chance of winning and it really does seems to like his teammates and coaches like LaFleur. But who knows, just a guess.

While I agree Rodgers is playing at an incredibly high level and would be surprised if he retired for good after this year no matter how GB's playoff run ends, but I wouldn't be shocked by it. Gotta also remember that Rodgers has repeatedly mentioned he isn't looking at trying to extend his career well beyond when he's at the pinnacle - and he's about to become a husband who seems interested on starting a family and has plenty of interests off the football field he seems intent on pursuing. Not that those things can't also be done while still playing quarterback in the NFL somewhere, but IMO it seems like he views some of these milestones as the next stage in his life to focus on after football.

At the moment I have a harder time seeing Rodgers playing elsewhere in 2022 than him retiring - if I had to put a percentage on things before the playoff run starts I'd say 60% back with GB under a new deal, 25% retire (even if temporary), 15% force his way out of town via trade.

With the Cardinals/Rams game being the Monday night game, the winner of that game has to play the following Sunday to allow for proper rest. Therefore, if both the Bucs and Cowboys win, then the Packers would play Sunday against the winner of Cardinals/Rams. If either the Eagles or the Niners pull off an upset, the Packers would host them on Saturday.

Absolute worst scenario for me is the Packers get Sunday afternoon as I have a flight that night...

Imagine being a Steelers fan and going to bed thinking you were in the playoffs and then....

man I hope this ends in a tie.
