If it is Packers Cowboys it will be the late Sunday game. I don’t know if Tampa is possible anymore anyone else I would say is Saturday.

TB beat DAL, but lost to LAR, so I believe a DAL win plus an LAR loss plus a TB loss would put the Bucs in the #4 seed.

According to Football Outsiders that is about a 1.6% chance

They've got DAL staying in the #4 seed as a 90.2% chance.

Perhaps a silly question, but with all the playoff changes this year I'm legit not sure- is there a REAL/fixed bracket this year, or is it still that the Packers get the lowest seed regardless of who that is?

It still is not fixed-- lowest seed plays highest in every round.

All I know is that I am hoping for a Packers / Bucs rematch for the NFC Championship.

I hate that it would have to be at Lambeau again, but it is what it is.

To be honest, I'm not sure the Bucs can get that far unless Fournette and LaVonte David can get healthy.

Can't bet against TB12 / GOAT though, so we'll see what happens.

I don't see Tampa losing to anyone but GB if at all. I just cannot see Stafford beating them in a playoff game, he is a near-lock for at least one catastrophic pick. I don't believe anyone else is as good. I feel like we're destined for TB-GB again.

I hope you are right, looking forward to it!

The Cowboys are a joke. I was a believer but after watching them continuously play down to opponents and seeing McCarthy still mismanage games I think they would be a fluff for GB. Tampa is injured enough that it's a possibility but I would still like their chances. I see Dallas as ripe for losing in the first round.

The Rams are a better team but I personally think Stafford has proven time and time again that he'll turn the ball over.

Bill O’Brien is apparently a serious candidate for the Jaguars HC opening:

Some teams just don’t learn, do they?

I don't know if he was a horrible coach but he was a bad GM. from what I read Balke is a liability in the coaching search as candidates won't interview there if he is the GM.

The Jags need to hire Jim Caldwell. He's the only coach in decades who kept the Lions from being a joke and only lost his job with the Colts because Manning got hurt and left. They can't get fancy and hire the new hot coordinator or retread with baggage like Harbaugh or O'Brien. Caldwell is safe and solid and, at the worst, won't leave the organization in a worse spot than when he was hired.

McCarthy made a weird decision in that Cardinals game last week that really didn't get much attention. After the Cardinals got a first down he opted to use his last timeout with 2:51 left. There was really no need to rush and use your last timeout right there since they got the first down and you only got to stop the clock one more time anyway. Really not gaining much there and even the announcer was a bit surprised.

What he did lose by using that timeout was any right to challenge the next two plays. On the play after his last timeout Chase Edmonds made an awkward move to stay in bounds and the ball popped out. The refs ruled him down and replay showed a clear fumble. But thus, McCarthy had no timeouts to use for a challenge and the game was essentially over at that point.

they need a bridge coach, Caldwell won't take them to the promised land, but he will get them to respectability, kind of like what Ned did here.

I don't remember the exact situation but at the end of the half the Cards ran the ball on first down with the Cowboys having 2 timeouts left and I thought here we go but he DIDN'T call a timeout! That must have from all that "studying football" he did in his year off. They were talking about how he again blundered clock management on a morning show I was watching Monday so apparently he's still got the touch. He is still a buffoon to me, I laugh every time they show him on the sideline.

+1

Jim Caldwell deserves another chance. Plus he’s spent much of his career as a QB coach - perfect for Trevor Lawrence.

If anyone has some bills to pay, Antonio Brown tweeted out his bank info this morning.

Sounds like the NFL is at least kicking the tires to identify a backup Super Bowl venue location if local COVID-related restrictions pertaining to crowd size become an issue - LA County/City of LA as of yet do not have crowd capacity limitations reimposed as of yet, but they did just extend their indoor mask mandate they had originally reinstated in mid-December before their latest COVID spike really took off through Super Bowl weekend.

Cowboys stadium reportedly has already reached out - would potentially make for a fun Packer return Super Bowl trip to Jerry's playhouse.

I'll never understand why people say "I can't see the Packers losing to...". It's a one game series (with an oblong ball) not a best of seven. They can lose to anyone in any given week. Be glad they're the clear favorite because they're the one team that gets next week off and they play their remaining 2 NFC games at home.

"Anyone can beat anyone, may the best team win!" makes for an awfully boring week between games.
