Just bizarre behavior.

He is dealing with some severe mental issues, he has to be, sane people don't act like that...

I'd like to think that's the case but I was just talking with a high school teacher recently and this is pretty much the student behavior he described that he deals with everyday.

AB is an adult... He is dealing with mental issues, it's obvious. He's been a bit whacky for years, always on the edge. The fact the Bucs got a productive season out of him last year is amazing to me. He always seems to be teetering on the edge of mental breakdowns.

I read on twitter he left the stadium with no shirt, and got into a police car.

Again, a normal, sane person doesn't act like this.

Via Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, Bruce Arians said that he was trying to get Brown to enter the game, and that Brown refused. Arians tried again, and Brown refused again. At this point, Arians told Brown to get out.

I'm guessing the Jets will pay for him to catch a different flight. Putting him on the team plane will be a disruption.

This was an almost entirely predictable end to his tenure in the NFL.

Maybe not stripping down and running out of a stadium, but I think him having some kind of meltdown and getting cut was always in the cards.

I have Seen some supposed sane people have some pretty insane moments including a 35-year-old going after a rec league referee after a game.

Competitive sports sometimes brings out the idiot in people.

if all we had to go on was today then I would give Brown a pass but the guy has a very long history of aberrant behavior and people have enabled him over and over again.

Yeah I'm not giving him a pass by any means just saying that I think the guy is very likely quite mentally ill.

Is Rodgers the MVP? He won’t play next week and not much else to be decided so race seems over at this point. I would say yeah, pencil it in.

If he is the MVP he would be the least deserving of it in a long time. His stats this year are not MVP level for a QB. The TD's are not there and the passing yards are not either.

If Herbet threw 5 less INT's he would be walking away with the MVP award.

JT should be the MVP without a doubt. There really isn't a QB this year who is putting up MVP numbers.

Like it or not, Rodgers is the best player on the best team in the NFL, and that team has also been riddled with injuries at key positions ( including his own toe) - making it all the more impressive what he's done.

I agree with you on Herbert - he should finish in the top 4 IMO. Taylor would be a candidate for offensive POY, but he's not MVP of the league.

Rodgers passer rating is 111.1 this season. When he won MVP in 2014 it was 112.2. If you take out the week one warm up (I know you can't do this) he is 13-1 with a 115.3 passer rating (10th all time). His play has been plenty deserving.

Sure, Brady has 1000 more yards & 5 more TDs, he also has 169 more attempts & 8 more INTs. Rodgers has him beat in yards per attempt, yards per completion, TD% & INT%. Brady = Wheeler, Rodgers = Burnes.

Rodgers is the MVP

Taylor is probably the OPOTY

this is why there's 2 separate awards

Should just rename it to MVQB then. I don't see Rodgers as the best player in the league nor Brady. The year that they are having just isn't all that special or MVP like. Taylor is having an MVP year Brady and Rodgers not so much. The gap between the #1 RB in the league compared to #2 is a wide gap. Taylor is far more important to the Colts winning than Rodgers is to the Packers. Without Taylor the Colts are a 3-14 team while the Packers are probably a 10-7 team without Rodgers mostly due to the horrible NFC North.

Couldn't disagree more with this statement, primarily because with all the injuries there is zero chance this year's Packers are a postseason threat without Rodgers (maybe they back into a playoff spot because the rest of the division stinks, but I'd doubt it with the schedule they played), and with him they're the best team in the conference.

And Henry is the best RB in the league, with Taylor being a distant 2nd. Don't get me wrong, he's had a great season and is largely responsible for the Colts being a potential playoff team. However, for a RB to be in contention for MVP in this day and age, he needs to be having a historic season statistically. Taylor's production through 16 games ranks 29th in terms of single season rushing totals, and is tied for 20th in terms of total TDs with 9 other players. Taylor's 2021 season is 50th all time in terms of all purpose yards from scrimmage. A really great season, but not historic to surplant any of the top quarterbacks for league MVP in this day and age.

Of the skill position players, Kupp should probably rank higher in the MVP race than Taylor, actually.
