Pivot. As much as he would’ve been great in Milwaukee, I wouldn’t have loved the contract that was required. Plan B in effect.

What's everyone's Plan B? Spend on starting pitching? Grab another 3rd baseman? Shaw? Franco? Lamb? Gyorko?

I am very curious to hear how involved the Brewers really were and what type of offer they made. It was Jon Heyman and Robert Murray back in January/February of 2018 that were saying the Brewers were being aggressive going after Yu Darvish. Then when he ultimately signed with the Cubs there was an indication that the Brewers were never really near the level of bidding that Darvish ended up commanding. Sort of curious if this is another similar case since the Brewers almost never allow news to leak about the free agent targets they end up signing.

Can't compete over 15mil a year. Sad news. Over under on Dodgers wins has climbed to 122 imo. Brewers sit anywhere from 74-87. Think with Turner it would have been 82-92.

You think the over/under is that the Dodgers will go 122-40 next season? I'll take the under.

Added Bauer and resigned Turner. 116 wins based on pct last season.Aside from SD what team in Division is fielding an 80 win team? NL central is filled with 80win teams that will have at least 1 exceed since half games played vs eachother.

Looks like we are going to have limited power in the infield. Hope are pitching holds up or its going to be a long year in brewervile

The Brewers have fantastic pitching heading into 2021. If they can sign James Paxton or Taijuan Walker and move Hauser back to his long relief role they'll improve even more.

You can't just extrapolate last season's record to assume they were a 116 win team in a full season. Too small of a sample size.
