If the Brewers don't win the division I should be banned. However, they will.

Some cherry-picked optimism for the current roster, if they all match their best individual years from the last three full seasons (or best 2021 projections for Urias). Hey, it's possible!

PECOTA has the Brewers winning the division!

(sorry if this has been mentioned. I just found out)

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

I think while strength definitely can help you hit homers, it's not the only factor in play to hit them. Maybe trimming down, becoming a more athletic body, will help his swing this year as well. Oh, and this is the optimism thread...
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I am super optimistic the weight loss will make him more flexible thus producing more torque in his swing. He will be awesome.
