Packers traded for a punter. Later JK. With that leg swing, it was always gonna be tough to be consistent.

 

 

And if you look at this thread, the ESPN LA Rams writer thought this dude beat out Hekker straight up:

 

Kid has a leg and a half.

 

 

Looks like Packers also get a 7th round pick. Trading a 6th round pick.

Ughh. So in addition to the 5th rounder they spent on JK, they have to give the Rams something? All for a job Justin Vogel did just fine.

The 5th rounder is a sunk cost. They had to do something. It was a bad pick but keeping him on the team would have compounded the error.

Bojoroquez was pretty darn good for Buffalo. Not sure why they cut ties:

Perhaps even more oddly, is that Justin Vogel never made another NFL team. The Browns, 49ers, and Broncos all tried him out and cut him. He was on the XFL when it shutdown.

 

So perhaps there was something more there than just his stats?
