Vita Vea activated

I’m sort of fascinated to see how much he plays and how big of an impact he ends up being for the Bucs.

I'm fascinated by his full name:

Tevita Tuli’aki’ono Tuipulotu Mosese Va’hae Fehoko Faletau Vea

Imagine being him being a kid, getting in trouble, and having your parents yell out your whole name. :laughing

Keke out, King questionable. Not a great turn on the Friday injury report.

Possibility of King out (like he was last time) and meaningful snaps having to go to Jackson (Brady rode his side of the field hard last time) and/or to old man Williams is not exactly ideal.

Concern level: elevated.

In the 19 playoff games of the Rodgers’ era, the Packers are 1-7 when they give up more than 26 points but 10-1 when their opponent is held to 25 or fewer points. Aside from taking care of the ball, they’ll need some opportune stops tomorrow. For as good as the offense is, I don’t think they’re scoring 30 on the Bucs’ defense.

I read somewhere that Gary leads the league in pressure % since week 10. Go berserker, young man.

Gutes really nailed that pick, I think Gary's floor right now is a Nick Perry who can actually stay on the field.

Really hoping King will be good to go, I still don't like Pettine's scheme and feel like the better play by the D has been the emergence of some young players and just much better health than any adjustments made. CB is sort of thin, can't give Brady a weakness to pick on.

I’m really pleased with Gary’s development this year, but even if he turns into an above average starter, the Packers will only have him on a value contract for another 2 years (plus a more expensive 5th year). Unless you’re taking a quarterback, I’d really prefer to see the #12 overall pick be a plug-and-play starter from Day 1. Now that being said, if he turns in a pair of disruptive performances in route to a championship, then it doesn’t matter how many games he’s started. The pick will have been a home run no matter what happens next year.

We had 2 first round picks and were coming off of 6-10 so I was fine with a high ceiling project although I expected it with the 2nd pick not the 12. He played last year and is making an impact this season so I don't see it much different than Savage who they could plug right in as a starter. Very few NFL players have high impact rookie years and if he is a little behind where we hoped it's mostly because he had a high ankle sprain early in this season.

Well my score prediction is 34-25. 24-15 if the weather wreaks havoc on everything. Feel were a better offensive mix than Rodgers and company previous Super Bowl. As it's said on 94.5, train to Super Bowl!

34-25 Bucs? Agreed, The Bucs will win and play the Super Bowl in their own back yard. It will be glorious!

I wanted the Bucs but now am getting more nervous by the minute. I put $50 on TB money line. That way I have something to be happy about either way.

Haha! I’m not the only one that does this! I just put $100 on TAM to win (+160) yesterday. I do this every time the Packers are in the NFCCG. Might as well profit from any possible unhappiness. And if the Packers win, it was worth every penny (to me.)

Keke out and Vita Vea back in? That's a pretty big shift. I'm kinda shocked Vea's back this quickly. That was an ugly injury, but it's gonna be that much tougher to run on them if he's healthy.

Aside from office pools, I’ve never bet on sports (wouldn’t even know where to start). However, if the Packers win tomorrow (big if), I’d seriously consider betting a few hundred dollars on the AFC champ to hedge my happiness.

Especially if it was Packers versus Bills. We would probably be favored.

They probably could have plugged and played Gary last year if they'd really wanted to do so. Like the Dolphins with Wilkins or the Buccs with White, and just kinda let him figure it out.

I'm looking for a little bit more than just a guy who can get on the field as a rookie. I'd rather take the risk on the guy with the enormous upside.

Vita hasn't played for a long time and is a big guy. If he is in there, go up-tempo and gas him.

That's true. He is an incredible athlete for a guy who goes nearly 350, but they may be able to catch the Buccs subbing him. I'd think they'd try to play him ~30 pct of the snaps at most. I'm guessing that's one of the things Rodgers looks at when game planning for a team also.
