Gigantic fail and blame goes on the offense. Defense wasn't awesome but the offense failed pretty hard when it was in their hands.

You can win with as many mistakes made today but it sure makes it that much harder as shown here tonight. Play a clean game and you’re probably heading to the Super Bowl. Disappointing.

The Bucs will not punt this ball. They'll take a safety if they have to kill the clock.

Yeah there was absolutely zero chance we were getting that ball back once they called the PI. Some decent time management based playcalling can easily kill 20-25 seconds of clock in 4 plays.

Just a bad performance all over. The ST coverage did its usual thing, defense dug a ridiculous hole to start, and the golden boy got the ball twice down 5 and didn't get a first down.

I've given up. I don't believe we'll ever see Rodgers back in the Super Bowl. Really, really thought this was that season.

I saw someone on Twitter make a comparison between Kershaw and Rodgers. Rodgers has been better individually and he got his championship early but both players just seem to come up short time and time again.

This game should've been won because for the first time in forever we were getting TOs. However, the end of the 1st half/start of the 2nd half was the dagger.

It's just so much worse when we're the more talented team OR we the other team gives you every opportunity to win the game...and you just...keep...blowing it.

Rodgers had his chances. He was in the same situation as Brady was in the Super Bowl and he just could not get a drive going twice in the 4th with a chance to take the lead. That PI was a bad call(bad because they hadn't called it all game...they didn't call it on Murphy-Bunting on the pick at the end of the 1st half) but even if we get that, we've got one TO and we need to go...what, 60 yards at best and get a TD?

Rodgers was just as much to blame for this one. Vs the 49'ers or the Falcons you could look ahead and say, "well, they just didn't have enough talent."

They had enough talent. And while they LOOK like they should have plenty next year and Tampa could lose Godwin and AB and David and Barrett, you know SF will be back, other teams are going to pop up. This was Rodgers chance to put himself into that next tier. To stop relying on the BEST of all time moniker because Brady's the winner...and he couldn't take it. No matter the three picks he threw.

And I get this isn't all on Rodgers. He's probably not in the top 20 to blame, but if you're an All-Time great QB, you have to find a way. Adams has to find a way to catch that TD, Lazard has to find a way to LOOK FOR THE BALL, but...the offense had the ball multiple times with a chance to score and take the lead and they couldn't do it.

One QB had a passer rating of about 80.0 and the other had one of about 100.0. Yet, history will regard the one with the 80.0 rating as the ‘greatest of all time.’ Unbelievable. I’m not even that upset. We all knew this is how it would end.

I'm sure they'll be just as ticked off about watching the Bucs celebrate on their field as they were watching last years NFCCG.

Every year that passes, I’m sure glad the Packers got hot at the right time and won that SB a decade ago.

not as bad as the Seattle game

It would be nice not to have to debate whether this particular loss was as soul-crushing as other specific playoff losses at the end of every season. They're all bad. We just find a different unique ways of being bad every time.

I was just thinking about this comparison today. I think it is quite apt.

While I agree Brady isn’t that good anymore, Brady has driven his team down for scores so many times in these situations. Rodgers has that opportunity many times tonight and whiffed. It’s unfortunate as it would change a lot of people’s minds about him and these games. He played well, just not well enough.

MLF took the ball out of Aaron Rodgers hands with a chance to tie the game and instead gave it to Brady. And traded that for a bag of magic beans and "what-ifs."

Rodgers had 3 chances from the 8, it didn’t go well.

Well, one of them he threw out of the back of the endzone under pressure. Fine for 1st down. 2nd, Lazard just didn't look or he scores. Last one was a poor decision. If he scrambles there and fine, he doesn't score, but he gets to the 3-4 yard line, then it's an even MORE obvious decision to go for it.

But let's face it, they'd have dropped the 2 point or Rodgers would have held the ball and thrown it up for grabs as he was getting hit or...we weren't winning that game.

Now I'm rooting for the Chiefs and I desperately want to see Brady lose.
