Even if Rodgers doesn’t get in, he’s stinking close. It allows you to let it go down to the 2-minute warning and get your best play ready.

Two guys were close to Rodgers. Go watch the replays if you would like. JPP looked like one of them. Then one right behind Rodgers.

Yup. IF we get the ball back, it'll be with ~1 minute left. How are the chances of winning better than going for it right there?

He really didn't have that much space and is the slowest guy on the field. He'd have gotten nailed, but could have opened a quick slant option on 4th down "and goal" from the 8 is a terrible spot to be on 4th down.

 

Such an anticlimactic finish. We really should have gone for it.

There were 2 defenders on lazard at the goal line facing Rodgers about even with him. I'd guess he could have gotten to about the 5 if JPP didn't chase him down first.

Remember what Yoda said:
