NFC Divisional Playoffs: Rams @ Packers - Saturday, Jan 16th, 3:35PM

Barnes out there with a club. Somehow I missed his injury...when did that happen?

They said thumb injury. I didn't see him get hurt, just them talking about him being questionable to return.

Prevent defense = prevent stops.

I don't even think we were in prevent, that was just bad defense. And Geoff made some nice throws.

Do we try and get press our luck and come out throwing here or just go into the half with a 6 point lead?

A lot of soft zone with some easy 6-8 yd completions.

This is one of the few times it's ok to return the kick.

I’d rather give Rodgers an extra pass.

Mea culpa.

Well...not many teams are playing for the score in the playoffs with 29 seconds vs the #1 defense in the NFL.

And vs a team that's just as bad as we are covering kicks. But damn...they're just playing SO confident right now. Maybe a bit too confident on those last two throws...

I'd like to see more Dillon in the 2nd half here.

Definitely. There's never a good time for us to return it. The time burned off the clock and risk of a fumble far outweighs the likelihood of anything good happening.

Nice to get a FG there. Hope those last two throws don’t presage Rodgers losing patience, but I think that’s just situational.

I don't think he was losing patience, risky but only risking the FG since half was almost over so I can see the aggressiveness there. Just not great throws.

Those were two horrid attempts into the end zone. Lucky to still have a shot at 3.

They were real uncharacteristic. If you're going to throw into coverage there...at least throw high. Give your 6'5 guys a chance to go up and get it. I thought Hill had that ball and MVS did a nice job preventing that next one from becoming a pick.

Still, up 9. If we get a TD, then I think they're really putting it on Geoff. Might not completely take the running game away, but...just about.

Good start. 4 drives scored every one of them vs #1? Defense. Come out and score again to start 2nd half and no worries from there. Just a bad sequence on the defense personnel on field. Dont know who it was but b2b plays I think a guy lined up around LB had his head turned when ball was snapped. Lucked initially into bumping in to WR but then moved and Goff completed for a nice chunk of yards. Easily could be 24-10 and even 28-10 had not been up against end of half.

The first one was a very good play on the CB (though it was a very tight window with the safety right there too). The second, he underthrew MVS pretty badly. That might be a TD if he gets it up three feet. MVS came back to break up the INT.
