To think that his pro career thus far consists of six appearances and 8.1 innings

RHP Lun Zhao placed on the restricted list

Guessing it's a Covid-related travel issue, but again, just a guess.

I heard about his high-spin curveball some years back and thought he'd be making a name for himself. Alas, baseball is a cruel profession

OF Juan Frias activated off 60-day injured list by ACL Gold team. Six other ACL players remain on 60-day injured list (Jesus Parra, Eduarqui Fernandez, Kevin Hardin, Kelvin Bender, Alwinson Valdez, Jose Chavez).

Two more pitchers sent to ACL Blue for rehab: Justin Topa and Antoine Kelly.

The Brewers are reported to have signed RHP Trevor Tietz on his 21st birthday. He hails from Watertown, Wisconsin, was attending Jefferson College in Missouri and was playing in the MLB Draft League for the West Virginia Black Bears.

Appears that OF Micah Bello, 2018'as Competitive Balance Pick after the 1st round, is about to begin an injury rehab with the Arizona Gold club, as per MiLB.com.

Bello, who turns 21 next week, was limited to seven games to start the season with the Mudcats, exiting in the 8th inning of the May 13th game, reason undisclosed to my knowledge.

IF Jesus Parra (our #21 prospect on mlb.com) and OF Alwinson Valdez (last played in 2018) have been activated from 60-day injured list (likely Covid protocols) by their Arizona Complex League squads.

Latest in a line of international signings -- 17-year-old RH-hitting shortstop Demetrio Nadal, that's all the details we have for now.

Oh yeah, he's listed at 5'7", 125

Add a more traditional 6'3", 193 RHP to the list, Henrison Mota, 18 years old.

Next up - 17-year-old catcher Eric Martinez, RH bat, 6'0", 175.

Like others, all we know for now.

We'll have too much fun through the years (hopefully) with the name Darling Solano (17-year-old RHP).

Also another 17-year-old RHP Jesael Cabrera.

Keep on accumulating, and there will be breakouts eventually.

The quality of names on these international signings continues to impress, the latest:

20-year-old RHP Braudin Ciprian - at 6'2, 220, that's solid if not "braud"

18-year-old RHP Hamlet Vasquez, listed at 6'3", 175

I spoke with Eduardo Brizuela today, the Arizona Complex League administrator for the Brewers. He said that Lun Zhao is expected to join one of the ACL teams very soon, possibly by the end of the week. His return from China was delayed due to VISA issues.

RHP Dylan File will be moving up to Nashville after his rehab start with Wisconsin tonight.

Probably not the best plan, he looked really bad tonight in Appleton...

RHP Caden Lemons the 22-year-old former 2017 2nd round pick out of an Alabama high school, has undergone Tommy John surgery, as pointed out by Adam Rygg (@BrewerNation).

Lemons had previously missed tons of time in his pro career with separate surgeries on each hip.

They pass out programs that were printed at the beginning of the season at Mudcats games. It's quite depressing that Lemons is on the cover, with a big story on his comeback inside.

- RHPs Kelvin Bender and Jose Chavez activated off 60-day injured list by Arizona Complex League Blue squad. I believe this concludes the Covid protocol issues/delays, as 1B Kevin Hardin (last remaining 60-day IL man) is likely actually hurt.

- RHP TJ Shook commences rehab stint with ACL Gold team

- RHP Wade Beasley commences rehab stint with ACL Blue team
