A little late in the season for the Bears to be playing for draft positioning.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

This call doesn't matter 1 bit, but that is as close as you can get. Hes either in by a hair or out by a hair.
Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

Welp, Rams it is. Thinking we will get Saturday game as that makes sense timing wise and Brees/Brady showdown will be the marquee game. Nice to have those two teams beat each other up, if it's a close game the winner may be a little gassed for the NFCC. I am not too worried about the Rams but it's the playoffs so I will be worried by the time it gets here.

One way or another I think some team is going to have to play on 6 days rest. I expect Bucs/Saints to be a late prime time game as you say and if Chiefs/Ravens is a matchup I definitely expect that to be the other.

So I do expect us to play earlier in the day on either particular day.

I didn't think the Steelers were that good, but it's hard to believe they are this bad.

Their defense was so good the first half of the season. They've completely gone off the rails on that side of the ball. The offense has always been pretty hit-and-miss. They don't have much of a running game, so if they don't hit on several big passes every game, they are in trouble.

All very true. Still a high octane passing game when its on with 3 quarters to go and it's still the Cleveland Browns on the other side, so we'll see what happens.

If the Steelers have a season like this next year I have to think Tomlin will be on the hot seat.

His career path reminds me a lot of Mike McCarthy. A ton of regular season success, but playoff success far in the rear view mirror. Sometimes things just get stale with one guy after so long.
