That was interesting or dumb. So under 5min to go leading by 4, 4th down and 2 about a 40yd field to go up 7 on the road and a score of 20-13. You go for it? Thats what Baltimore did. Play was flagged and kick a 50yd FG to go up 7.

Why in the world do you not take the points to go up a full TD where best the Titans do is tie the game and you just need a FG to beat late vs tie? Such a bail out. Sure argument will be made the 4th down was converted had the flag not been thrown, but it was offensive PI so is the reason it was converted because of the interference?

I absolutely get why they'd go for it there. You finish them and you've got one of the best running games in the league.

What was truly baffling to ME was the series before that the Titans had the ball, 3rd and 2 at maybe the Ravens 40 with ~10 minutes left in the game. They threw the ball to Jonu in the flat, DB came up and made a perfect hit and then they ended up punting. You've got Dereky Henry...it's a 4 point game.

If you can't hand the ball to our 250 pound back on their side of the 50 down 4 in the 4th...and this guy also happened to run for 2000 yards, then...you don't have much confidence.

Cannot believe the Titans punted in that situation. Just not how I've come to expect Vrabel to coach and not how I'd like to see MLF coach.

It's probably better if the Bears win, but I just can't...

I have absolutely zero problems rooting for the Bears. I know if we get them, that's a much easier game and we're one game closer to the NFCCG.

I'd rather play the Bears and then let the Rams and Buccs battle it out. But I can't see the Saints choking another game away. Likely their last in the Drew Brees era. We'll see.

The Bears’ offense is so ugly. I didn’t look at the line, but I can only assume that the Saints were favored by 73?

Yeah, and the Saints are good. And Trubisky usually folds in big spots...so...

Maybe Trubisky will have a good game which will get the Bears to sign him again.

Saints line is getting smoked

I do think we'd beat the Rams, but I don't love the matchup on paper. Assuming Donald plays they do have a fierce pass rush and probably one of the only corners in football that might be able to hold Adams in check. They also can run the ball. They didn't need Goff to do anything to beat Seattle handily.

Again, I do think the HFA is enough to put it in our column but it's not a gimme.

I can’t believe this is playoff football. Looks more like preseason.

All you need to know about Mitchell Trubisky as a competitor can be summed up by the Bears' 4th down play in the first half when they were trailing 7-0 and desperately needed an answer. 4th and 5 around the Saints' 35 and Trubisky can't find anyone and takes off. Couple defenders bearing down near the sticks. If he pulls a Heinicke and dives head first for it, he's got a great shot of picking it up. Is his body going to pay for it, yes.

But nope. Pulls up scared and flees out of bounds 2 yards short.

Pretty much. I couldn't believe that was the effort he gave on 4th down in the playoffs.

Welp, Rams it is. Thinking we will get Saturday game as that makes sense timing wise and Brees/Brady showdown will be the marquee game. Nice to have those two teams beat each other up, if it's a close game the winner may be a little gassed for the NFCC. I am not too worried about the Rams but it's the playoffs so I will be worried by the time it gets here.

Down 3 scores with 8 minutes left and you punt? I know it's 4th and 9 and you have Trubisky for your qb, but still.
