Bucks 2020-2021 season thread

Anyone ever injured their hamstring? There is no way he is ready to go if he couldn't play 50 seconds like 10 days ago. It may feel fine walking around, but a few sprints up and down and not only is it going to hurt, it's going to reset the entire clock. It is one of the most annoying and frustrating minor injuries there is. Fire up the transition as soon as you get the ball in your hands. There is no way he can keep up with that kind of game.

Yes but I've never had my injured hamstring pumped full of cortisone.

As for the next series, IF we get there, I want Philly to avenge 2001.

It very possible this is a ruse to get the Bucks to prepare differently.

It's not an elimination game so seems like if he isn't ready they would wait a game for any emergency attempt at playing. Probably just something to try and get in the Bucks heads and turn the momentum but who knows. Didn't Reggie's hammy get cured by some overnight miracle back in 96?

If the Bucks get past Brooklyn they'll stomp whatever team comes out of the other side. I get the pessimism but the Bucks are a very good team. The West is a different story, but the Sixers are on fumes and the Hawks are not good enough.

I am more worried about Durant + a random pumpkin scoring 25 points than the Sixers.

I'm really surprised you can say that with that much confidence after the results the last couple seasons. I think in 2019 we seemed to be head and shoulders above the Raptors the first two games who seemed to be running on fumes. Up 2-0 on them there was no good reason to think we weren't going to the NBA Finals and then just like that everything fell apart and we didn't even win another game.

I am less worried about the Sixers and Hawks as I am about the Bucks and which Bucks team we would see. At their best the Bucks I believe are the best of those 3 teams but if they played anything like their first 3 games this series they would lose to either.

I think they want to warm him up for Game 6 and if needed Game 7. Not sure he will heavily play a bunch.

I was looking forward to the solo Durant match up for the storyline. It was Durant’s chance to prove himself as the guy in the NBA.

I was thinking whoever was being guarded by harden should bit stop moving on the offensive end, but he's guarding tucker so that doesn't seem like an option.

Embiid is gassed, and Atlanta is just not that team. They could beat the Bucks once or twice, not 4/7. This current game however seems too easy...I am not expecting this to continue.

gee who could have guessed that there'd be a bunch of fouls called on the Bucks

I think "they're too gassed to win" was pretty much word for word what we said about the Raps, to be fair.

Yeah this is not going to be easy I don't think. Lot of guys in foul trouble isn't going to help.

I hope I am wrong but I expect at minimum for the Nets to pull within 5 at some point this game and at least make us sweat. Would love if we cruise of course.
