So 2 observations:

Unlike others. I don’t think it’s over, but the bucks better figure out how shoot again stat.

If things don’t get better, Bud is gone. Probably after theee 2 games. He needs to win this series to save job.

I don't think they have the horses. I was hopeful it was just a bad shooting night on Saturday, but I think they are just overwhelmed and they probably know it. I don't think we'll get a game.

Middleton is better than a 7/20 shooter. From what I saw before I bailed, they had looks, they just couldn’t execute the shot.

Darvin Ham would be a leading candidate.

i would hope not. He has been a Bud guy in Milwaukee and Atlanta. I think the organization needs a re-shifting.

The one candidate that would intrigue me is David Vanterpool, but I think he will get the Portland job.

Looking at the media reported candidates for the Boston, Portland and Orlando jobs, its a bunch of former players with little coaching experience and retreads like Jeff Van Gundy or Mike D'Antoni.

Bucks will never win a championship with Giannis...but Giannis is a big reason why. He just isn’t the main guy super star to build around...sorry, but he just isn’t. Great player...but not a championship team leader. They just aren’t going to attract a superstar to pair with him.

He is a 2x MVP. There is no reason he can't be the best player on a championship team. Your 30 and 15 post player is not the reason you can't win a championship. Your primary shooter scoring 12 points in the playoffs however is a huge reason you will not win a championship. Throw Klay Thompson of a couple years ago on the Bucks and they've probably won it by now.

Giannis is essentially an athletic Shaq. Shaq also couldn't win as the lone superstar, and I mean even he had Penny. But when you got into crunch time Kobe or Wade was able to step up. There is no Wade on this team. There is not even a Ray Allen on this team.

This is what I unfortunately said to my friend, a non bucks fan, yesterday. Giannis just isn't a true number one. He can be a great 1b, or B player, but he just can't create enough to get tough buckets in the playoffs. When your team needs a bucket, he's just not there. I don't see how he get's there, unless he develops a back to the basket type game. He needs a true scorer, creator on his team. That's not really a knock, just more the reality. He would be amazing in that type of role. We just need someone who can go get buckets in crunch time and Middleton isn't that guy. Middleton is a good scorer but he's not on the level of people like Kyrie. I think Giannis has benefited a ton from Jrue handling the ball more and getting the D to collapse on him a bit, then dishing to Giannis, but Jrue just isn't the guy who can carry a team on O either. I know these really good scorers don't come available a lot, and many won't come to Milwaukee, so I'm not sure how we get said player.

Nets look like they're recovering a bit. Need to keep the pressure on, i.e. keep scoring.

The idea that Holiday was going to be a game changing player for us in the playoffs looks to be far more wishful thinking than anything that is going to emerge in reality.

He's better than Bledsoe. He's been better than Bledsoe. Not sure what else to say. The Bucks have shot the ball extraordinarily bad in this series. Not sure that falls on Holliday.

Game 1, if the Bucks don't shoot 20% from 3 and Giannis makes some FT's, they are in/maybe win that game. Game 2 EVERYONE played awful.

I'm not saying that it falls on him and he is indeed better than Bledsoe. I'm saying for the trade assets and dollars they gave up for that upgrade, the net positive isn't remarkable and now they're pretty hamstrung.

I think they're probably a better overall team if they keep Brogdon and the picks used to acquire Jrue and go a different direction, whether or not that be keeping Bledsoe.

Jrue is a fine player but I think he was made out to be the missing piece for why we haven't been able to win in the playoffs and I don't see it.

I was disappointed they didn't/couldn't keep Brogdon, but he made it pretty clear he didn't want to be here and be the 4th option.

As it is, I think DDV can grow into the role that Brogdon played, and do it just as well, but that doesn't help us at all right now. It also doesn't replace the picks we used to get Holliday.
