I really hope Chryst takes back the play calling duties. Rudolph just doesn't have a feel for it.

No talent at the skill positions. How can UW not have one or two stud RBs?

 

I think Berger is going to be really strong.

Yes, this year's team seems very much like a transition team and trying to find their identity. That'll happen when you lose a central player like Taylor. Its easy to say Coan would've been better, but I'm not 100% sure. Mertz is certainly going through some rookie bumps, but we barely have any WRs healthy for him either. And Coan had some stinkers last year, too. Not to mention the stress of playing on and off this year (and recovering from COVID).

 

Berger is going to be really good. Dike looks like a player, too. I think we had some very highly rated WRs either as freshman this year or next coming in? Recruitment seems to be improving the last couple years, so I'm thinking we are starting a nice run of top-10 rankings and challenging OSU for the BIG10 title.

We've been spoiled. We had Gordon a Heisman runner-up, Clement played well early on, then Taylor.

 

And I'll take Taylor over any UW back ever. So Berger's being compared to some guys a bit unfairly by some.
