Yeah, I don't have a good feeling about this game at all. Just a bad matchup and although we don't play them very often, they seem to be a thorn in our side. I looked it up. The last time the Packers beat the Colts on the road, they were the Baltimore Colts, in 1974. Ouch.

Not playing then often is an understatement. We’ve played them 5 times on the road since our last win in ‘74 going 0-4-1 with two losses by 3 points each.

 

I 100% agree that it’s not a good match up for us... so watch us have one of our best games of the year. :)

Is it weird that this almost makes me feel better? The offense has a tendency to seem so much more like it’s best version of itself when Adams is out and the ball gets distributed more widely and more quickly. I think this happens for several reasons: Arodg doesn’t fixate, the opposing defense can’t ignore 80% of the offense, and MLF seems to develop better game plans.

 

Losing the best* WR in the league absolutely doesn’t make you a better team, but boy, the results don’t always bear that out. Football is a weird game.

I like our odds better in the dome against these guys than at home. Feels like this LaFleur offense works better on turf.

Bettors going very heavy toward Indy at that opening line isn't surprising to me. It's the exact kind of matchup that has been an L pretty much every time in the MLF era without fail, a road matchup against a top D.

 

Indy isn't a great running team but I would still expect a heavy dose of JT tomorrow. A win in a game like this would be quite satisfying but at least let's have it be a close competitive game.

JK Scott did not travel with the team due to a personal issue. The Packers have signed Drew Kaser who worked out with the team earlier this week (and who presumably cleared the COVID protocol).

Just realized King was added to injury report with yet ANOTHER injury. Do not resign this guy and yeah I am still pissed about TJ Watt.

Scott now in Indy and expected to play.

I saw that yesterday and I just laughed. I agree with you about Watt. King had an injury history coming out of college. I don't know what TT was thinking, something that was a recurring issue with me for years.

Yeah, you gotta shake your head at the King injury situation, but I still don’t blame the Packers for passing on T.J. Watt. Remember, it wasn’t King or Watt, it was King+Biegel or Watt. Who honestly thought Biegel would be cut after 1.5 years? Also, aside from being a Badger and Wisconsin native, T.J. Watt had an injury history AND had just made a position switch. That’s exactly the type of player we rail on the Packers for drafting.

It is fair to say that I want the Packers to draft all the Badgers but Watt was climbing fast going into the draft and sort of fell into our lap and we passed. My memory of it was that he was BPA. King is active.
