Keep rollin'. Wahl and Davis showed up and played great, everybody else kinda "practiced" through the game. Had it been closer in the 2nd half I imagine that Trice would have taken over, but he didn't need to (as opposed to a certain all-time Big East scoring "champion"). It's a great sign when you can watch the whole game, go "meh" then look up and see that they beat the spread by almost 10 points. Still, I thought the "great D" they got credit for tonight was an equally inept Northwestern offense. Lots of missed bunnies and 3s by the Nerds in this one--but UWs offense wasn't a whole lot better and it wasn't a close game.

Bo Baraski with the worst call of the year on the davison three.

I guess I don’t understand the rules on that play. I get it if they think he stuck his leg out after the shot trying to draw a foul they don’t give him the foul. But why doesn’t the basket count?

It was flat out a look at me call. Total crap.

Ohio State is a good team, and UW played/shot poorly. Still, UW had a chance to win it in the last 4 minutes and oddly Trice bunked it up with a pair of missed FTs and a bad TO.

Shoot better and it's a victory. Too many wide open bricks.

On to the next one. This won't be UWs last loss of the year.

Officials are off to a great start.

After this play, in short order, an Ohio st player drive and got a huge push off on Davison and there was a no call, and then Davison attempted a 3 on an inbounds and ended up on the floor with another no call, but they didn't give a good look at what happened.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

Decent enough game tonight. MD missed a lot of shots, but UW didn't give them many easy, easy ones. Potter and Reuvers knocked down their deep shots, which really makes the offense run. Can't complain about a road win that covers the spread. That means it was a better game than expected.

I hope the next game that Bo borowski works for the Badgers that they bring back Bo Ryan for a one-game stint and see if he can make it a full half without getting teed up because he would lose his you know what with the way borowski has treated the Badgers lately.

It took 3 halves, but UW finally figured out how to play against PSU (It helps that PSU went ice cold, of course). First half was fine except for all the turnovers. 2nd half has been smooth. If Davis AND Wahl AND Reuvers and Potter (and Trice, Davison, and Ford....and Anderson) hit their open 3s UW shouldn't lose much. Ball movement, man movement, knock down the open 3....

too bad about Carlson's injury. I liked what I saw of him early in the year.
