I totally just realized there are fans at the NLCS. Shows how much I've been paying attention.

I get it, but, of course, I also just don't. I'm not surprised, but the risk-reward calculus just seems so clear in my head.

As for the baseball, the AL has been much more exciting for me. Can't say I'm much into either of the NL clubs. Suppose I just hope the Rays win and cross another team off that "never won" list. Gotta be the Brewers eventually, right?

Boy.

If the Dodgers fail to make the World Series much less win it, I imagine they will be desperate this offseason.

Kershaw will be in the last year of his deal next year and is now 32 years old.

Justin Turner is gone after this year.

Kenley Jansen is 33 and looking shakey.

The Braves ultimately got to Tony Gonsolin, but he looked good early.

It’s sort of fun that both Gonsolin and Corbin Burnes were starters together at St. Mary’s and both drafted in 2016 (Burnes in 4th round, Gonsolin in 9th).

Not just “at Night” anymore.

That's cool, love stuff like that.

Reminds me of JD Martinez, Miles Mikolas & Mike Fiers all getting drafted out of Nova Southeastern back in 2009.

Those three have around 225 million in career earnings/future gurantees, Nova Southeastern only has a 170 million endowment.

That's the only reason why I tuned in for a couple of innings last night. My first baseball since the Brewers elimination.

I find it odd the NLCS is being played in an AL stadium. I understand the reason, but still odd.

That is amazing. Definitely qualifies as a fun fact.

Arozarena is good. The fact that he is not doing this for the Cardinals makes it even better.

Yea nice to see them get fleeced in a trade for once. And of course great the Brewers don't have to play this guy for the next 7 years.
