The timing of that last offensive drive stalling out immediately really set this up. Could have been up 16-10 or 20-10 at half, and instead we're trailing. Huge swing

So many little things contributed to the halftime score. The sequence:

 

-Rodgers overthrows an open MVS on 3rd down

- JK Scott hits a short line drive punt which is returned 14 yards

- Z commits a killer penalty on 2nd and 17 to give them a free first down.

 

Got to do the little things right.

And we are playing one of the best teams in the NFL. Brees can't throw it downfield, but they've still got an elite OL, backs and Brees is accurate and 4-5 Pro-Bowlers on that D.

Yeah, it's surprising that they don't though. Statistically teams have greater success on 2 pt conversions running than passing.
