Man breaks into Brewers' ballpark, attempts to write name using a tractor (VIDEO)

I would hope that instead of throwing the book at him he gets the help he needs to be a productive member of society.

Were the front doors unlocked? It looks like he tried one and then the second door he tried opened right up. Pretty crazy.

Man. The tractor part is just sad.

If I ever broke into the stadium I would either want to stand at home plate hitting baseballs, or get on the PA system.

That’s was my thought. Haha

If I ever lose it mentally you will see me rolling up the tarps, throwing some pitches off the mound and then taking some BP after I raid the clubhouse.

Do we know anything about the guy? Could be mentally ill. Kinda crazy that he just walked through the door like that.

Edit: Yeah sounds like this guy has some issues:

"According to court records, Lambert is the same person who is the subject of a restraining order filed by WISN 12.

The WISN 12 News management team sought the restraining order after a man showed up multiple times to our front door months after the Miller Park incident."

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Walked in and out without being caught. Considering he was riding on a tractor kind of impressive. With the season still dead at that point in time guessing no one was really around.

He is pleading not guilty due to mental illness or whatever the technical term is. You have to be pretty mentally ill to break into Miller Park, grab a tractor, try to write your name, and instead tear up everything.

Apparently, the security guy saw him right away but he made a move and said something like he had a gun so the security guy, smartly, just kept an eye on him and called the cops.

Ahh yes, 0:23 of the video...I thought he was just in his own world pretending someone was coming after him.

Though surprising the police didn’t get to him faster. That entire ordeal looked pretty long and he still left on foot.

Average police response time is something like 3-5 minutes.

This is also not something new for Miller Park I know of a few people who have snuck in and have taken selfies and other pictures on the field and in the dugout. I know of one person who did a pretend AB and circled the bases. The security tends to be very relaxed when it comes to things like this and will normally stop you before you can get on the field but they can't be every where all the time and most of the time if you are not doing anything crazy they will just ask you to leave.

Not as impressive as the guy in Boston who walked into Fenway while a game was going on.

Hey, I talked my way into Fenway without a ticket not once, but twice. Two of my favorite stories! One was a Yankee-Red Sox game.

I snuck into a game at Camp Randall years ago. The first Jump Around game as a matter of fact.

In Milwaukee? The average response time for a non-violent crime is much-MUCH longer than that. 40+ minutes.

Yeah, That does become a thing. A guy in Boston break in durning a game.

I progressively hated you more and more as that video just endlessly went on. Wow that was some cringe worthy commentary.

Though I didn’t see that, so I appreciate the video none the less. Lucky that situation didn’t end up worse...dude definitely seemed off his rocker.

I accidentally snuck into an outdoor concert in Miami. Had never been to the venue and walked through the first entrance I saw and was looking around for where to pay and then was like "I'm in!". That's all I got.

That's actually what happened when I "snuck into " Camp Randall. I was looking for a payphone and thought there might be one inside the Fieldhouse. I saw some people going in and out a side door so I went in. Walked around a bit and saw there was a tunnel that led into the stadium. Figured I'd stay to watch the game :)

[sarcasm]Grandpa, tell us what a payphone is. Why didnt you just use your cellphone?[/sarcasm]
