I can handled missing the playoffs this year, but I’m going to be really annoyed when they miss them by one game or by losing out on a tie breaker.

I'd also like to add that I can handle missing the playoffs too, but not at the hands of the freaking Cardinals...

I'd rather lose out to the Cubs than the Cardinals.

Another part that’s bugging me is that next year’s draft is absolutely loaded with elite talent near the top. The Brewers are sort of out of the running for a great pick (#12 or #13 is probably the best they could do), so if they were going to waste away the pandemic shortened season with an anemic offense I wish the prize was going to be a little better.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Burnes could have pitched just about the game of his life and it wouldn’t have mattered because this offense is an embarrassment.

Unfortunately we could say the exact thing for fill in the blank pitcher pretty much all season.

Surely there will be a middle infielder that can't hit or a toolsy outfielder waiting to put it all together for us.

D"Amico wasn't ready for the bright lights either...

Oh my dude. Give it a rest already. :laughing I do find it funny that one of the biggest chokers in the game of baseball was referenced with winning Cy Young’s and then not showing up when it matters though.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

You do realize Burnes is hurt, right?

Was he to start the game?

Kershaw is a great pitcher........guys have bad games......he will be a first ballot hall of famer.....I’m sure we could find lots of great pitchers who were healthy and had difficult starts in must win situations.......

Just because a guy has a bad outing doesn’t mean he choked........

I really can’t believe that after the year Burnes had this is the conversation you want to have about him.......it’s shocking to me considering the good fan you are and the fact that he was obviously hurt.
