Nats bullpen giving this one away.

Well they were in a bases loaded jam, but the only run they gave up was the extra innings inherited runner on 2B and it wasn’t an earned run, it came on a throwing error.

Their offense now has a chance to tie or win it in the bottom of the inning.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

At this point I just want them to find a way to get in. If it’s the Dodgers, I’ll take it. In a three game series the opponent becomes a lot less important, so many things can happen over 2-3 games no matter the talent gap.

True. That said I would love to get the Cubs instead.

Man I had forgotten about this.......can you imagine if Williams was doing this for somebody else this year?

Board would not have been happy.......but it shows why player evaluations/projections are so difficult......coming off injury nobody wanted him.....

The Phillies bullpen is epically terrible.

For all of those who want the Brewers to "sell high" on all of their relievers, what happens when you ignore or gut your bullpen to try to add offense is that you become the Phillies.

Huh? We sold high TO the Phillies.

It doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme, but watching the Pirates just hit a walk off home run on the Cubs was fun.

It was! I know it is extremely improbable, but I'll never stop hoping for a Central Division title until it's mathematically impossible. The Cubs have three against the White Sox this weekend, so dropping all three isn't out of the realm of possibility. Dropping the next two to the Pirates probably is, though. As is the Brewers winning their last 6. But stranger things have happened.
