Dare I start all three of Rodgers, Tonyan and Williams today? I desperately needed to upgrade my RBs and picked up Williams and Gallman this week. I have Gallman starting but going against that seemingly improved run defense of Seattle's since acquiring Dunlap gives me cause for pause and Melvin Gordon has done next to nothing lately. My only other option is Edmonds but I expect his production to go down with Drake back in the fold plus they are playing the Rams defense.

My attempt to upgrade my rb position resulted in gore going out with a concussion on his first carry. Sigh.

I picked up Ty Johnson as a speculative add before the game. With all due respect to Gore, and I wish him the speediest of recoveries, there's no reason for Adam Gase to be centering his offense around that dinosaur. Give some touches to the guys under 50 on your offense.

So, in one of my leagues, I was fighting for the last playoff spot. I was playing the projected #1 seed in our regular season finale and was losing by almost 80 points going into last night's Dallas-Baltimore game.

I had Lamar Jackson, Ezekiel Elliot, and the Baltimore defense. My opponent had Amari Cooper.

By the fourth quarter, I had managed to be within striking distance, and midway through that same quarter, I got the score tied up, 179-179!

And the Cowboys have the ball at the one! Yahoo!!!!

Ezekiel Elliot up the middle. No gain.

Ezekiel Elliot up the middle. No gain.

Ezekiel Elliot up the middle. No gain.

1-yard TD pass to Amari Cooper.

The TD also lowered my Baltimore defense score as a bonus.

And Lamar was done passing and running, as they were just trying to run out the clock by that point.

I lose, by seven.

Man, the Cowboys suck.

At least I'm firmly in the playoffs in my other 2 leagues.

I was in a similar situation, but I was barely ahead by 2 points with Cooper left and the Ravens defense. Now I did win by about 12 but I was nervous because it really would've sucked to lose because I also had Tyreek Hill, and you know what happened Sunday Night. A loss would've knocked me out of the playoffs but instead I'm in position to get into the playoffs with a win. Win and in.

Do you guys like Cam Akers as a dynasty/keeper guy?

Looks like it after last night! Depends how your league does it as well. Our league allows keepers from the round they were drafted in, so if you have him snagged late it would probably work well. I had 2 strong years of Mojo Drew because of that.

What a great waiver wire pickup for me this week getting the Rams. How that defense was available this late in the year, I don't know.

people overstream the defenses I think. I have LA defense too. They had a tough matchup against Arizona last week, so I am sure they dropped the rams to stream another team. I picked up the bears defense last week to replace the rams (kept them on the roster) and they way underperformed the rams anyway. Picked up Akers 2 weeks ago too, so I am off to a 48-0 start in my playoff matchup.

Agreed on overstreaming defense. Many do it.

I have a tough situation, though, this weekend. I have the Steelers defense, but my QB is Josh Allen. I am included to grab a different D because of this. The best waiver option is probably either the Packers versus Detroit or the Seahawks versus the Jets. I am thinking the Seahawks D, but that D, while its been better lately, truly is terrible. But so is the Jets offense. Should I grab GB, Seattle, or just stick with the Steelers and the weird cheering issue with having them and Allen?

Yeah probably, but I wasn't going to start the Dolphins defense against the Chiefs so I dropped them for the Rams. I usually add and drop defenses weekly depending on matchups, but I won't have to next week, assuming I make the playoffs, because the Rams have the Jets next. I don't even bother drafting one until the last round or two.

i drafted minnesota way too early this year, but lucked into picking up the rams early in the year and have kept onto them. I keep an open roster spot to stream players during bye weeks and tough matchups. I picked up Tucker because he was released during his bye week. you just never know when good opportunities will come up because people cut players for short sided reasons. Why take the first kicker off the board if you aren't going to hang onto him all season?

Fantasy Pros aggregate has Herbert @ 6, Watson @ 7. My gut had Herbert before Watson. Obviously Atlanta is a better matchup than Chicago. SoCal vs Chicago in December should be a bump too. The surrounding weapons lean towards Herbert. I'm not scared about last week's debacle for Herbert. Belichick is a freaking genius vs rookie QB's.

Its close enough that you definitely have to trust yourself, but my humble vote would be Herbert. Best of luck!!

I rarely ask for lineup help, but it is the playoffs and I’m torn. Herbert or Watson? Any input would be appreciated

Cooks is out if that helps you make a decision.

Went with Herbert, they basically had the same output, need 4 points from Tucker tonight to advance, which is amazing enough. One isn't normally in the position to win when Derrick Henry on the other team goes off for 40 points.

So I got burned pretty good in the first round of the playoffs. Chris Godwin was a dud for me, while James Robinson and Michael Thomas were only ehh. My biggest mistake ws playing James Conner in my Flex spot instead of Dobbins, though. Josh Allen ended up having a decent game after it appeared he was going to crap the bed. Right now I am down by 3 points, and I have Nick Chubb left, while my opponent has Mark Andrews and the Ravens defense. Gonna be a close one I think.

I freaking cruised into the playoffs yesterday. I played the perfect lineup with Rodgers, Gordan, Gallman, Cooper, Hill, Tonyan, AJ Brown, Koo and Rams defense. I was up by about 66 going into last night's game and my opponent had Singletary and Diggs. I guess I knew all along he'd never catch me but when you see Diggs go off like he did in the second half I still got a little nervous. Diggs must be lapping the field in targets this year.
