Mattison and Chubb would be my call. Cousins is hurt and Mattison seems to have big games when Cook is out. Chubb is the best RB of the bunch.

This is what I went with. I also picked up Justin Jackson on waivers and had him on the bench.

On to the ship!

I picked up Jackson too to replace Ekeler ono my roster. I won 143-138 so every point mattered for me.

I told myself going into the Cowboys game all I needed was for them not to score two TDs and get half a dozen sacks with under 13 given up. My opponent nearly got enough luck to force my TE to do something tonight. Had that fumble gone the Cowboys way versus a TD for Washington I think his defense would have made up the difference to take the lead.

My opponent had terrible luck this week. Robinson blew his Achilles after only rushing for 10 yards and he lost Kelce to COVID. He then started Lockett over Tee Higgins…who went off for 40 points.

Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good.

got my makeshift championship game roster basically set, but struggling on my flex play (standard league)

C. Patterson, Dare Ogunbowale, Dillon, Darrel Williams, Osborne, or MVS.

I'm leaning Patterson since he has been so solid for me since I got him in late September, but a strong case can be made for Dare or Williams just based on volume.

What do you think

I think you gotta stick with Patterson, personally. If you're in PPR Williams could be a really good play, though. He thrived with CEH out earlier this year.

Similar question - start four, bench one in half PPR for the ship:

Mixon, Chubb, Montgomery, Damien Harris, Sony Michel.

Mixon and Chubb are the obvious starts IMO. Among the other 3 I have Damien penciled in for the bench currently.

I would bench Patterson personally(I am). Ever since halftime against Carolina his touches have been reduced. Only 2 targets the past 2 games. He was lucky to get a td last week to make it a below avg game as opposed to a second terrible one.

League does championship in week 18, so in semis. Had Lamar Jackson as my QB, picked up Mac Jones cuz he's playing the Jags. available on the waiver wire is Trey Lance, Tyler Huntley, Ryan Tannehill, Tua, Taysom, Baker and Andy Dalton. I'm planning to stay with Mac, if anyone has reasons why I should pick up someone else let me know.

Because he's playing the jags is a good reason why not. He might only throw 3 passes. Me personally, I might be willing to take a chance on Huntley, he did look really good against us, or hill, Carolina has been bad recently, in that order.

I was considering Taysom but I think I will roll with Mac. I don't want to risk Huntley against the Rams D, especially with how poor the Ravens offense can be at times. I'm hoping Patriots will run it up on the Jags and that 4 pass performance against the Bills was due to weather. But Mac hasn't been very good lately. I guess it's a gamble no matter what. If the weather looks bad in Boston I think I will pick up Hill.

I love Chase going nuclear the week after I needed him to go nuclear.

Thanks, made it to the championship. I'm not a fan of doing the championship on the last week of the year, I guess we'll see what happens.

Picking up Penny and Williams on the WW was the right move. Easily won my championship, with CPatt unproductive on the bench.

I stashed Williams for the week, but started Edmonds instead. However, I did pick up Amon-Ra St. Brown and put him in my flex...so I had that genius move cooking. I am only down .15 with Chubb left.

Thankfully, it doesn't look like the benching of Rodgers/Adams will end up costing me. Pretty brutal for thousands, I would guess.

I think you are in good shape!

I had St. Brown too in my lineup. I rare week where everything I did turned to gold.

Decided to do so. Starting Penny at RB and Darrel Williams now at flex. Benching Dare and CPatt.

This worked out well for you :)

Pulled it out while having Taysom Hill starting and see him go out in the 2nd quarter. Was a nail biter but Deebo did what he did all season for me and I won by 4 points. Picking Deebo in the equivalent of round 5 this year was a stretch but it worked out. My two keepers were Derrick Henry and Kittle, drafted Edwards-Helare and Lamar Jackson before taking Deebo. Got pretty much nothing from those first 4 in the championship. Made a trade for Johnathan Taylor in week 3, but he was a bit of a let down this week as well compared to what he had been doing and his opponent. Penney proved a huge pick up for me for the playoffs as well.

I suggest you petition your league commissioner to NOT have a Week 18 Championship. Oof!

Ill second this. I had the championship the last week of the season one time and it was a disaster. I'm all for depth on a roster, but to have quite a few of your studs on the bench because they are resting up for playoffs doesn't sit right when determining a champion. Ours is week 17 now and feels a lot better and created much better matchups.
