This is such a stupid game we play. It's 99% luck.

This week I lucked in to picking up Mattison 10 minutes before kickoff for my flex. Combine his score with Kamara and James Robinson and I was on the way to an easy win as long as the rest of my team was at least average. My opponent had Beckham who tanked and Golladay who put up a big 0. So then for me Thielen goes bust. McLaurin and Waller have substandard games and Daniel Jones gets concussed before halftime after sucking. Up by 29 going into Monday night I felt pretty confident. As long as Lamar doesn't go bonkers I got the win. He had 7 points at halftime. Was at 14 going into the 4th quarter. And we all know how the rest turned out. I lost by 14. Most crushing fantasy loss I've ever had.

I won a game this week 154.10 to 153.68 thanks to Mark Andrews and his 36.20 points last night. I had totally written off the game as a loss, and didn't even pay attention to last night's game. In fact, I dozed off on the couch, and flipped it on to see the game was in OT, and Andrews had just caught a pass while the announcer said he was only adding to his career night. Opened the app on my phone, and sure enough. I had a 1% chance of victory coming into last night's game. Edited by Ron Robinson's Beard

I went into Monday night 60 points down, but had Lamar, Andrews, Taylor and Tucker. Woke up to the second highest score this year I the league and over a 100 point win

Keep AJ Brown in my lineup despite being sick (says he’ll play) or move Cole Beasley into that spot (picked him up yesterday when Brown changed to Questionable as I had an open roster spot)?

Not a huge fan of Beasley but concerned that Brown might not get much run if he isn’t feeling the best and also has a bit of a hammy issue that has bothered him this year.

I would have still rolled with AJB, Beasley ended up being the call but both would have done decently for you. I had the second most points in my league this week with 184 ...and lost to the guy who scored 187 to drop me to 2-4. Frustrating sometimes.

On the plus side I'm 5-1 in my other two, one of which I have no business being 5-1 in and the other which I've just been decimated with injuries but have had the depth to withstand it.

I went with Brown and since I only needed 5 points it worked out just fine - wasn’t looking so hot at halftime though.

I had the opposite game this week that you did - I scored the second fewest points in the league but got lucky and still won.

Crazy to see you guys scoring so many points. I'm down to just 1 league and then a bunch of weekly leagues. In my one classic league breaking 100 is typically the goal for wins.

Just depends on your league's scoring rules, guessing you don't use PPR. For the most part good teams in one scoring system would perform about the same in a different scoring format.

For sure. Just always interesting to see.

its my favorite time of the fantasy season, where you can get players on the WW that should never be released if you are willing to hold on to a player during his bye week.

put in a claim for Bass whom if I can get, i will use as my kicker for the rest of the season.

considering putting in a claim for Emanual Sanders, but don't need a WR that bad and then I am wasting 2 bench spots in a week, where I have some key players on byes too.

Its a great time to build your roster for the playoffs.

Our league is 3 IDP. I'm thinking about running with an empty IDP spot just so I don't drop Mattison. I don't own Cook, but the Cook owner won't give me anything for him. I think Cook will get dinged again, the way this season is rolling. The fun of the game of chicken.

3 player keeper league, keep any 3 players with no penalty and the rest go into the draft pool with the rookies.

Was offered Gibson and DJ Moore for Diggs. Seems like a pretty damn good offer. I am very weak at RB after losing Dobbins, I have Damien Harris and Conner out there every week. My other WRs besides Diggs are Diantoe Johnson and Cooper.

Should I pull the trigger? I'm middle of the pack points wise but a likely playoff team at 5-2.

I'd probably do it in your shoes, you still have good coverage at WR and Gibson gives you quality depth at RB and he's only 23. Moore is a stud too if anything is holding him back it's his QB situation, even that's not keeping him from having a solid floor.

Couple weeks ago I traded Calvin Ridley, Darrel Williams, Kenneth Gainwell and a 1st round rookie draft pick for Josh Jacobs, Hunter Renfrow, and Dallas Goedert. I get 2 years of both Raiders players which was the upside, the guys I gave up aren't keepable (except for Gainwell but I didn't mind that). I'd never wish mental health issues on anyone but nevertheless I feel better about the timing of parting with Ridley because my WRs are struggling with staying healthy and available, so giving up Ridley was the big risk for me.

I'm in a dynasty league that I took over a total tank job. I own an insane amount of future picks but have the worst lineup you'll ever see. Anyway I pulled Mike White off waivers this week, started him and Davis Mills who delivered me 60 combined points and a miracle win for a team that I assumed would never win a game. LOL

First week all year I had a lineup that I felt was zero question marks for what I had available. And still pretty good overall. Chubb and Robinson flopped as one of my RB's and Flex. McLaurin also flopped as did Seals as my fill in TE for Waller. Total choke job team wide. Of course my opponent's team choked as well just not as bad as mine. Barring Daniel Jones going LJax tonight I'm going to lose when all I needed was average performances from everyone to win. I freaking hate this stupid game.

100% the same from me. Started Chubb and Herbert and had Gordon and Michael Carter on my bench. Shouldn't have been an issue since Deebo and Kupp scored me about 40 points combined. Im currently down 2 with Mahomes going tonight, but he has Williams and Jones. Went from highest projected week score to hoping to get lucky to win.
